"ignorance is bliss"

izzat so??i dunno..it depends how u look at it..i suppose ignorance is just a nicer way of saying "running away from reality"..and to the realistic ppl.. ignorance is hiding yourself away from the truth..and seen as a form of cowardice..to those who live in chick-lit fantasy worlds..ignorance is creating a paradise for yourself..setting the perfect movie scene for yourself to be in..

let me try to strike a balance between the two..it is true that ignorance is a form of running away from reality..knowing very plainly the truth but refusing to acknowledge it..simply because you don't want to..but in this world we live in..the only way to keep sane sometimes is to be ignorant..every now and then..we do have to retreat to a little happy clappy world of our own..where we are the movie directors and we set the setting exactly how we want it.. since the world has gotten to such a state nothing can be called our own..we do have to create a little haven for ourselves..and in this haven..everything runs how u want it to run..this haven is where if you want the river to run upstream the river will run upstream..this little haven of ignorance can be called our own..shut away from the big bad world outside..this is the place we recharge ourselves mentally to face the outside world again..

to those who think ignorance is a form of cowardice..i have this to say:
ignorance is a shelter in an open field.once the storm is over, we step out on the field again.

a shelter is a temporary cover.you cant stay in there all your life.however, when the weather turns bad, you turn to it for temporary refuge but once you've rested enough its time to step out and continue what you left behind.
